INTERNATIONAL CO-OPERATION

JSKD takes care of implementation of international programmes and projects and their inclusion into networks of similar organisations. It supports guest appearances of the best groups and their participation at various festivals. Through residential programmes, JSKD enables foreign top artists to stay and create in Ljubljana in Slovenia, thus enriching their opus and leaving a mark of their creativity in our environment.

JSKD operates at four levels in the area of international co-operation and networking:

- it collaborates with Slovenian cultural organisations in the neighbouring countries and around the world;

- it helps quality amateur groups to achieve international recognition and organises international projects;

- it co-operates with similar organisations in European countries and is an active member of international organisations in the field of amateur cultural activities;

- it runs residential centre.
