RESULTS OF THE COMPETITION
According to the rules every performance of each choir was evaluated by the members of the jury with numeric mark. Summary numeric score is the average of all received scores.
AWARDS
91,7 points Each choir also receives the equal part of monetary award of 1.750 euros.
Since the Maribor Competition is now the member of the European Grand Prix Award for Choral Singing the winner will take part at the finals of 2009, held in Bulgarian Varna next year. The Jury has decided that among the two winning choirs Komorni zbor AVE, Ljubljana, Conductor Andraž Haupman. will be Maribor's representative at the Finals. The decision has been made on the basis that this choir has won two of the three competition programes (the free and Grand Prix program).
The monetary award of 1.000 Euros, Plaque of Participation at the final concert for the Grand Prix of the 10th International Choral Competition Maribor 2009 and overall 3rd place with 86,9 points:

Monetary Award of 500 Euros for the best equal voices group at the competition:
The Award of public for the best choir and the Award for the best composition of the program, decided by selected Slovenian conductors for the best composition of the program at the opening concert:
