Zoe Leigh Gadd

 

Zoe Leigh Gadd is a UK-based dance-theatre artist, choreographer and producer whose work spans contemporary performance, site-responsive practice and socially engaged dance. She is the Founder and Executive Director of Dance Ahead CIC, through which she has created and produced work for theatres, festivals and public spaces across the UK. Her practice has been supported by Arts Council England and developed in collaboration with civic, cultural and community partners. Alongside her artistic work, Zoe is an experienced educator and has held teaching and leadership roles in higher education, including at the University of Cumbria, London Studio Centre, Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and Rose Bruford College. She is actively engaged in international exchange and artist-development contexts, through her role as Artistic Collaborator with Barcelona International Dance Exchange (BIDE).

 

Jana Jevtović

 

Jana Jevtović is a Serbian Canadian choreographer and dancer. She graduated from the Department of Choreography and Contemporary Dance at Concordia University (Montreal, Canada), and in 2011 received a DanceWeb scholarship at the Impulstanz Festival in Vienna. Since 2014, she has been an active member of Nomad Dance Academy Slovenia, collaborating on projects that foster collective authorship, critical reflection, and the development of infrastructure in the independent dance sector. Her creative work and collaborations extend across Europe, Canada, and the United States and include partnerships with internationally recognized choreographers and artists. Through her choreographic work and collaborations, Jana Jevtović is an active figure in the contemporary dance landscape. Her work, marked by conceptual rigor and a collaborative ethic, continually expands the understanding of choreography both as an artistic practice and as a mode of critical inquiry.

 

Tomaž Simatovic

 

Tomaž Simatović is a dancer, movement and performance artist, developing work through research, dance, performance, teaching and writing. He studied contemporary dance at SEAD and received his MA in choreography at ArtEZ Institute of the Arts (NL). Tomaž has taught internationally, in universities, such as Mozarteum/Carl-Orff-Institut Salzburg, Falmouth University (UK), University of New Mexico, Normal University Guandong (China), Akademija Plesa Ljubljana, and in dance institutions, such as Tanzlabor_21 Frankfurt, Tanzkiosk Hamburg, Tanz Quartier Vienna, amongst others, working with dancers, musicians, actors, and dance enthusiasts. His artistic work has been fuelled by his interests in improvisation, somatic movement, inter- and trans disciplinarity, audience participation, socially engaged practice and applied performance. Since 2020 he develops work in the frame of Laboratory for Participative Imaginaries, in collaboration with András Meszerics.
